Fossil Whitby Hildoceras ammonite Jurassic coast

Nice sized hildoceras ammonite fossil found in a limestone rock nodule at sandsend near to Whitby in Yorkshire on the Jurassic coast.

Approximately 180 million years old, and from the upper lias.

Yellow 1 cm cube for scale.
