Ammonite fossil Whitby big with calcite crystal

Lovely big dactylioceras ammonite found near Whitby in Yorkshire on the Jurassic coast, with some added calcite crystal formed during preservation in the limestone nodule.

Approximately 180 million years old.

Yellow 1 cm cube for scale.
